Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup is a continuation of an old roguelike called "Linley's Dungeon Crawl" that's been kept up to date. It's an old-school ascii rougelike that's been given a graphical facelift, but still hearkens back to the "good ol' times" of the nineties. Expect to die a lot. Learn by doing. Read random scrolls and drink random potions. Enjoy the old school experience!
Most other public Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup servers have dozens or hundreds of highly skilled players that will gaurantee you will never be on the scoreboard. This server, by contrast, is intended to be used for Talonos' freinds and family, and for their friends and family. That way, you're competing against people you know instead of people you don't! Because of that, if you're a third order connection or more distant, make sure to get permission from Talonos to be on here! I want to be able to give anybody who asks a good answer if they were to ask, "Who's that guy on the high score board?
